When the world's best downhill and cross country athletes come to Leogang and the enthusiastic fans create a great atmosphere, it's time for the Mercedes-Benz UCI Mountain Bike World Cup again! From 10th - 12th of June, the 2022 the Mountainbike World Cup stops in Leogang. For the disciplines of downhill and cross country, there are important points to be made in the World Cup.

The Bike World Cup takes place once again in the downhill in Leogang. The ride will be on the 2020 World Cup circuit: 'Speedster'.
The track is spectacular, demanding, fast and not for the faint of heart. At 2.3 km you will pass through roots, stones, switchbacks and spectacular jumps down into the valley. The new highlight of the track is 'Vali's Hölle'. This section was first ridden at the 2020 World Cup. The crowning feature of this section is the gap jump, which can only be skipped with sufficient speed and courage and thus once again provides excitement. But why Vali's hell? Vali Höll, the local hero and great medal hope at the 2020 World Cup, missed her chances for the gold medal in this section.
 

The second time, after the World Cup in October 2020, Leogang will also be the venue of cross country competitions. And unlike the downhill competitions, cross country is also about up-hill riding. The best in the world compete on short laps and ride around in the fastest times. In addition to the spectacular races, there will also be exciting things for fans to discover in the Expo area at the finish line: looking over the shoulders of the pros, getting tips or examining the latest products.

Our tip: Take your chance and see the best in the world from start to finish. The Asitzbahn mountain lift takes you up to the start (at the middle station) and you can then hike along the World Cup route down to your destination (directly at our front door).

Throughout the summer, as every year, various courses and workshops take place.

A must for all bike enthusiasts is the annual Bike Festival from 16 to 18 September 2022. Testing, workshops and guided tours are offered here. Get tips from the pros in terms of driving technology and the correct handling of the latest material. Furthermore, you can expect around 80 exhibitors and 150 brands with various competitions and promotions on the Expo grounds. In various competitions, it is also a matter of finding the best and fastest - Scott Junior Trophy Pumptrack.

With the auner Austrian Gravity Series, the events at the Bikepark Leogang will be concluded for the summer of 2022. On October 08, the last of the six races of this series will take place.
The Bikepark including Lines, Trails & the Riders Playground is expected to be open for you until November 6, 2022.
