The train and the stopping stations will accompany you through the evening even longer. But what exactly is it all about? It's best to find out for yourself.

JRE Andreas Herbst & his philosophy

Andreas follows a very special kitchen philosophy with his team.

First of all, we personally introduce you to the main player of the evening: Andreas Herbst, the junior chef of the house. He is the inspiration behind all the culinary highlights that inspire again and again. He is young, enthusiastic and has many ideas and fresh energy. So also when it comes to the new 'dahoam'. Andreas thinks why look far away when the good is so close. And he is right - he carefully chooses every single component of the unique dishes and places the regional product absolutely in the foreground. He pays attention to the unmistakable taste of the product. The signature dish 'White Carrot' is leading by example, where the full taste of a carrot is put in front of the curtain by the vegetable farmer Stechaubauer farner from Lenzing near Saalfelden and everything (!) from the carrot is processed. So 'anything' means carrot, carrot peel and greenery.

The restaurant

Stylishly and elegantly decorated, the 'dahoam' is predominantly decorated with the colours of the fine dark blue and traditional gold.
Without knowing what to expect, you will embark on a culinary journey through Leogang together with JRE Andreas Herbst and his team. Everything runs to the the motto : 'G’ess’n washes wôs auf’n Tisch kimb!' (Eat what comes to the table) Be surprised and impressed by the modern, creatively inspired and at the same time extremely homely Alpine cuisine. You can choose between a 4- or 6-course menu, which is served in a special presentation.

The gourmet experience for all the senses

In the gourmet restaurant 'dahoam' you can expect traditional dishes, which are completely reinterpreted in our gourmet workshop and prepared and presented in a creative way. Artificial flavours and flavour enhancers are of course not used here, because JRE Andreas Herbst and his young and dynamic kitchen team only process high-quality, fresh and local products. All the ingredients that make up unique dishes and create an extraordinary explosion of flavour come directly from the Saalfelden Leogang region or from the surrounding area, directly from Leogang.
