CHARITY EVENT Cancer Aid 2026

To mark the end of the year, Riederalm, in collaboration with Austrian Cancer Aid, is hosting a special charity evening under the motto “Indulgence for a Good Cause.”
All net proceeds from the event will go towards Austrian Cancer Aid’s Emergency Financial Assistance Fund, supporting cancer patients who are facing financial hardship as a result of their illness.

6:00 PM | Festive Christmas Reception on the Terrace

We warmly welcome our guests to a festive reception on the terrace of the Riederalm. Surrounded by the glow of warming fires and a magical Christmas atmosphere, guests can enjoy mulled wine, selected aperitifs, and delicious bites freshly prepared on the OFYR grill.

A short personal welcome will set the tone for this special evening and introduce the charitable spirit at the heart of the event.

7:00 PM | Culinary Delights for a Good Cause

Following the reception, guests are invited to take their seats for an exclusive four-course charity dinner created by Andreas Herbst and the culinary team of the Riederalm.

The menu will be complemented by carefully selected wines and beverages from our partners, perfectly paired to enhance the culinary experience.

The evening will be hosted by Friedl Herbst, senior host and patron of the Riederalm, who will guide guests through the programme with personal stories and inspiring insights.

Between courses, we will turn our attention to the true purpose of the evening: making a difference together. Guests will gain insights into the valuable work of Austrian Cancer Aid (Österreichische Krebshilfe) and learn how emergency financial assistance supports cancer patients and their families facing financial hardship as a result of the illness.

9:30 PM | Special Musical Performance & Evening Celebration

After dinner, we invite our guests to continue the evening in the Riederalm bar, where a special musical performance awaits. The artist of the evening will be announced at a later date.

With wonderful music, inspiring conversations, and selected drinks, we will bring this memorable evening to a relaxed and enjoyable close.

An evening filled with exceptional cuisine, meaningful encounters, and heartfelt hospitality – united by the desire to make a difference together.
