Hiking, biking, downhill,... but what do you do if the weather doesn't play along and you cannot spend your day outdoors? In the Riederalm there are also bad weather days or days where you just don't feel like doing something, but there are still things to experience. No matter whether you are a child or an adult, we have everything you need.

If the weather doesn't play along, it is the right time for wellness. Do something good for your body, mind and soul and treat yourself to relaxing hours with the best wellness pleasure.
From the thermal pool and our steam baths to the most varied saunas, including regular sauna services with our sauna masters Hans and Reinhard, the Mountain Spa Birnhorn invites you to linger. Have you already seen our relaxation rooms? We think that the pine relax cube is especially inviting. Located directly in the Mountain Spa Birnhorn and with a unique view of the Leoganger Steinberge mountains, this is the perfect place to really relax, unwind and come down completely. This area is exclusively for adults and thus THE perfect place for peace seekers and couples or girlfriends.

Families can go to the Hochsitz (relaxation room). In the warmth, by the fireplace - simply a place to relax. The Hochsitz is located directly above the family pool 'Pinzgauer Wasserfestspiele water area' - so parents have their children in their best field of vision. 
Families and children feel like they are in paradise at the Pinzgauer Wasserfestspiele.

If children as young as adults, are fed up with swimming and slides, or if parents want to enjoy their dinner in peace and quiet, our game room is just the right thing for boredom. 
The game room is THE place to play, laugh, have fun and maybe make new friends. Here, children of all ages have many opportunities to simply have fun: from a climbing wall with tube slide, to a soft play area, to a reaction wall, a table game station with countless games and various video games, everything is there to make your child's day. Another small games room for toddlers is equipped with a climbing tower with a slide, soft building blocks, wall games and a mini-game table.

As you already know, we pay great attention to our gourmet cuisine. Starting with our rich breakfast buffet with homemade and fresh products from the region. The Alpine buffet continues in the afternoon with daily changing meals - soups, salads, savoury snacks and cake buffets. A special highlight among our guests is the 'Kaiserschmarrn afternoon snack', which takes place once a week. For the gourmet menu in the evening, gourmet chef, host & JRE Andreas Herbst can come up with the best dishes and creations from regional products. Because the culinary wow experience is simply part of the perfect holiday for us! With a good glass of wine to match the menu, it's the perfect end to the day, right? Our sommelier and maître d'hôtel Fernando Fanaro is the right person to consult for the perfect wine accompaniment.
