Hiking enthusiasts can expect over 400 km of well-maintained and safe hiking trails and via ferratas - whether family hiking, pleasure hiking or challenging summit climbing - there is something for everyone. Our guests are particularly enthusiastic about our weekly hotel hike with senior boss Friedl, and there is also a weekly hiking programme with guided tours.

Enjoy yourself on pleasure hikes, circular hiking trails and panoramic hikes, which are not only perfectly marked and easy to walk, but to whose starting points you can often take the mountain lifts.

RIEDERALM TIP

At the Asitz, the mountain of the senses, after the ascent with the Asitzbahn mountain lift (a few minutes' walk from the Riederalm), get directly on the high-altitude paths. Here you can enjoy the peace and quiet of the Senses Park or relax on one of the rest beds by the reservoir.
