Family excursions in Salzburgerland

The base station of the Leoganger Bergbahnen (=cable car) is right next to our hotel. By cable car, you get up to the Asitz comfortable for an amazing panoramic view of the Pinzgau mountain world. If you get out at the mid station, you can experience the fun of the Senses Park, which is fun for all ages. Go through the park and invigorate your senses. In Leo's Water World, you can play in the waterfall, relax with a Kneipp bath or go bare foot through a water way. Along the Herbal and Alpine Floral path you can see over 80 various sorts of plants, trees, Alpine flowers and aromatic herbs. During the sommer season, a daily trip up and down with cable car is included in Saalfelden Leogang Card. Also the cable cars in Saalbach and Hinterglemm are included. Here, you find lots of game-hiking-routes.

Find out everything about water. The crystal clear reservoir above the mid station of the Asitz lift is nestled beautifully in the surrounding mountain scenery. The sight of the light reflecting on the water with the Leogang mountains in the background has a soothing effect. The Kneipp area offers you the chance of sensing cold water on your body, the stepping stones are wonderful for practising balance, and the path around the lake invites you to take a stroll, then relax on the loungers on the lakeside or enjoy the remarkable view from the amazing floating platform. 

Super hits for the whole family! A pirate ship swing, a large carousel, the roller-coaster and the "Western Comet" will excite and dazzle all guests at this amusement park. Try the new "Wild Rafting" ride for a refreshing experience. The bravest will love the "Teufelsrutsche" (Devil's Slide) with its 10 metre nearly free-fall slide, or the giant inflatable trampoline where you can soar to the skies. In the petting zoo, your kids can  pet, play with, or even ride the ponies - or just watch and enjoy them.

You can take the Hochsoller Mountain train to the "Hexenwasser" - the Witches' Waters. At the beautiful, natural amusement park, you will be greeted by water in many forms! Mountain witches' streams, canals, climbing ponds and mud pools - more than 30 different stations make sure the day is everything but boring! Dive in, be amazed, learn something new. Walk barefoot through grass, mulch, and stones. Come in direct contact with nature and stimulate your reflex zones. At the Hexenwasser Park, old, nearly forgotten traditions also come to life - milling grains, baking bread, making cheese or distilling schnapps. You can watch, learn and join in.

You can view over 200 animals on 15 hectares of land in the "wild" part of the park - a zoo full of excitement. Learn about forest and mountain animals - wolves, brown bears, lynx, bison, raccoons, marmot, wild pigs, red deer and owls. Information and photo boards provide more information about the Alpine flora and fauna. The amusement park has over 20,000m² of pure fun - right in the middle of the mountains. Little ones love it! For action and easy transportation, take the Wildpark Express and enjoy a large bumper car area, water games, a huge slide and a trampoline. Visit the "Zwergenschenke" and the "Büffelbar" for refreshing drinks and snacks. Parents can watch their kids from the comfort of the inn terrace.

A highlight for the whole family is the Timoks Wilde Welt family park in Fieberbrunn. Here you can get to know nature in a playful way and prove your skill. For example at the Alpine Coaster, the water games or the forest rope course...
