Andreas Herbst is not only the host, he is one of the best chefs in the Salzburg region - as a member of the Jeunes Restaurateurs he was recently awarded 4 Gault Millau toques, 4 stars (88 points) in the 'a la carte guide' and 3 Falstaff forks (91 points).<br/> 'The Epic Slow Food Leogang' is Andreas Herbst's kitchen philosophy and includes the best quality and variety of local products. The evening gourmet menus for hotel guests are identical to the à la carte menus.<br/> Our maître d'hôtel Fernando Fanaro is a connoisseur of wine with heart and soul and knows how to select the perfect bottle of wine from our unique Riederalmer range of wines and offers charming and competent service together with his team.

- Our top-trained kitchen team naturally takes into consideration various intolerances and allergies. Since there are complex processes of food preparation in our Riederalm gourmet kitchen, you have to be aware that there could be limitations in case of severe or unusual intolerances (lactose- or gluten-free is absolutely no problem). We do not offer a vegan menu as this diet cannot be combined with our regional kitchen philosophy, but of course we are happy to offer you a varied and high-quality vegetarian menu.
